From the winery:
The result of a skilful blending of the best Nero d’Avola grapes from the Giambascio and Bosco Falconeria estates, the Black Label has over the years become the flagship of the Tola family.
The harvest takes place by hand in boxes during the second ten days of September, after which the grapes arrive in the cellar, where they ferment in steel tanks for four weeks at a controlled temperature of 28 C°. It follows the passage in French oak barriques, where it remains to refine for 8-10 months, before bottling and the subsequent maturation in glass for another 12 months.
The result is a wine with an intense and dense ruby color and an eclectic character. The nose is ethereal, intense, with a range of aromas ranging from fruity, sweet and ripe scents, to floral notes of violet, and more spices and toasting.
