The town of Batea still preserves the remains of the wall that surrounded it. “Vila Closa”, a town surrounded, has a simile in this round wine without points. The farms are selected, within the exclusive “honeycomb” land of our area, sit on very calcareous with lots of drainage. The age of these vines is between 15 and 30 years. Wine grown in the shape of a glass, so that all the work carried out is done by hand. The fermentation of the wine takes place at a controlled temperature, and the subsequent maturation, for two to three months, in oak casks.
