Planted in 2010 this vineyard has begun yielding some fantastic fruit. With an elevation of 2800′ it’s not hard to see why Gamay was a great choice for the site. Tracey ages the Barsotti Vineyard Gamay in neutral French Oak barrels and bottles it unfiltered to bring out all the nuance this grape delivers. Flavors of kumquat, blueberry and acai hold the wine together- while it finishes with some grippy tannins and mushroom, sweet herbs and a hint of pepper.
