From the Winemaker:
Grape:Aligoté
Terroir: Clay-limestone soil on hillsides. Enclosed by dry stone walls. Average age of vines: 35 years.
Winemaking:
Mechanical harvest, pressing, settling in cold stainless steel vats. Racking after 24 hours then start of alcoholic fermentation. Malolactic fermentation is carried out at 100%. Aging in stainless steel vats for 7 months then filtration and bottling in June 2020.
Tasting Notes:
Eye: Clear and brilliant pale yellow color. Golden shades.
Nose: Elegant exotic fruits, citrus fruits.
Mouth: A beautiful aromatic freshness.
A straight and delicious Bourgogne Aligoté.
