However, Dwyane Wade partnered with one of California’s best and low key winemakers in his project Wade Cellars. It’s a rosé that drinks like the crisp and dry ones from France but is made in Sonoma, California.
Made from Pinot Noir grapes (clones: Martini, Pommard, Mount Eden & Wadenswil) grown on the southwest facing slope of Arrowhead Mountain. Harvested early in the season when fruit is full of the bright, high-toned acidity. Hot days and ample sun followed by cooler nights bring complexity to the Pinot grapes. Energetic and fruit forward on the nose with a dry finish.
