Please note: This wine has some smokiness and upon opening small like a fire. As it opens up, the smell disappears and it is beautiful. We want to let you know this before purchasing that this bottle really needs decanting but that your patience will be rewarded!
Pinot Noir from Lance Redgewell of Cambidge Road, one of the stars of New Zealand natural winemaking based in Martinborough, in the lower part of New Zealand’s North Island. Grapes are grown along biodynamic principles and whole-bunch spontaneous fermented, foot-trodden and bottled ‘raw and honest’ with no filtration or additions.
The resulting wine is a silky, earthy delight with balsamic strawberry, red cherry and peppery game aromas.
96% Pinot Noir, 4% Syrah
