From the winemaker:
Intense and complex, at first sight it is naturally expressed with ripe red fruit but then strikes with the intensity of the tertiaries: green pepper, coffee, liquorice and nutmeg. A full-bodied and appropriately tannic wine with long persistence and great elegance. Maximum Expression: 8-10 years.
Vinification: 18 days on the skins with pumping over in the open air, followed by static decantation in large barrels. The wine is aged for 12 months in barriques; it then rests for 12 months in the bottle
